La Marmotte chalet-hotel and spa is ideally situated, standing at the foot of the slopes of Les Gets in winter and close to local hiking trails in summer. This cosy, friendly, welcoming venue boasts attractive antique furniture, quirky accessories and a level of service that’s second to none. So settle in and feel like you’re at home. Soak in the stunning, panoramic mountain views through the vast windows as you relax by the fire in the large living area, surrounded by natural wood décor.

The lounge bar serves up wines, cocktails, hot chocolates, our special “Les 2 Marmottes” infusion, and champagne by the glass – perfect for grabbing a pre- or post-dinner drink after a day’s skiing or hiking. The hotel also offers a range of wellness and family-oriented services and facilities, including a pool, jacuzzi, spa, games room for adults and children alike, and an Internet corner. Guests also have access to a garage and a large car park.

From 1936 to the present day
1936

“La Marmotte” tea room is built, with 6 rooms.
1947

The Mirigay family takes ownership of La Marmotte – the beginning of a relationship spanning several generations...
1956

The first mechanical ski lifts 
are built in Les Gets and the winter 
sports resort is born
1960

La Marmotte undergoes its first transformation, expanding to a capacity of 32 rooms
1968

Another extension sees the hotel expand to 45 rooms and La Marmotte gets its first 3-star rating.

1972


The hotel swimming pool is built
1989

The “Getsforme” health centre opens 
2004

The health centre becomes the Séréni-Cimes Spa.
2007

The La Païka high-altitude restaurant opens
2011

The La Tapiaz hotel is built, with 8 rooms
2013

The kitchens, lounge, bar, restaurant and reception at La Marmotte are renovated.
2014

The La Pivotte and La Biskatcha restaurants are built
2015

La Marmotte gets new suites: with 7 new suites, the hotel now has 61 rooms in total

Our Séréni-Cimes Spa is a cosy, relaxing, 800 m² wellness suite situated in a traditional mountain chalet built from alpine-farmed wood and Mont-Blanc stone.
