Every Wednesday during the winter season (from 23 December to early April), the Chalet-Hôtel La Marmotte invites its guests to take part in supervised ski outings. Guidance is provided free of charge; you are responsible for purchasing your own ski passes. These excursions are not lessons, but a unique experience combining skiing, exploration and a friendly atmosphere, all in complete safety.
Programme for the day:
The trip departs from the hotel or directly from Avoriaz, depending on the weather and the number of participants, with transport fully covered. Enjoy a unique day discovering the treasures of the vast Portes du Soleil ski area, guided by a passionate guide who will share anecdotes and offer exclusive views.
Lunch is served at the mountain restaurant La Païka or La T’chapa, in a warm and typically mountain-style atmosphere. An aperitif will be provided (meal not included).
Price:
These excursions are offered to guests staying at the hotel, subject to prior booking.
Ski passes and meals are at the participants’ own expense. For your convenience, we can arrange your ski passes for you. Simply let us know when you book, and we’ll take care of the rest!

Bookings can be made directly at the hotel reception, by email to info@hotel-marmotte.com or by telephone on +33 (0)4 50 75 80 33. As places are limited, we strongly recommend booking in advance, ideally when you book your stay. Booking deadline: up to the Sunday before the outing.
